Delivery & Installation Guidelines
- Before you shop, take accurate measurements to verify the product will fit in the installation/setup location.
- Measure doorways, hallways, and stairways to ensure they are wide enough to accommodate your new purchase.
- Make sure the unloading zone and delivery path through your doorways and hallways are clear and without any obstacles.
- Confine all pets to a separate area.
- There must be someone 18 years or older to accept delivery.
Washers
- Make sure there's a 3-prong, 110-volt electrical outlet within reach of the washer's power cord.
- The water shut-off valve must be located on the same floor and within four feet of the appliance, be corrosion-free, in good working condition, have a metal connection, and require no plumbing alterations.
- Purchase new standard-length supply hoses if they are not included with your new washer.
- If you are stacking the washer and dryer, purchase the proper stacking kit for your model and any other required parts.
Electric Dryers
- Make sure a 220-volt outlet is available within 4 feet of where the appliance will be installed.
- You must have a 3 or 4-prong outlet.
- You will need a new electric cord and aluminum dryer vent.
Gas Dryers
- Our team does not perform propane conversions or gas appliance installs.
- Your natural gas shut-off valve must have a metal connection positioned directly behind the dryer.
- Make sure there is a 3-prong, 110-volt electrical outlet within reach of the appliance's power cord.
- You will need a new gas flex connection and aluminum dryer vent.
- If you are stacking the washer and dryer, purchase the proper stacking kit for your model and any other required parts.
Refrigerators
- Make sure you have a 3-prong, 110-volt electrical outlet within 5 feet of the new refrigerator.
- For ice and water dispensing models, your water shut-off valve must be located on the same floor and within six feet of the appliance.
- Be certain that the shut-off valve is corrosion-free, in good working condition, has a metal connection, and requires no plumbing alterations to connect parts.
- You will need a new water line connection kit for the appliance.
Electric Ranges
- Ensure your 3 or 4-prong outlets are located within 4 feet of your appliance.
- You must have a new electric cord for your range.
Gas Ranges
- Our team does not perform propane conversions or gas appliance installs.
- Your natural gas shut-off valve must have a metal connection positioned directly behind the range.
- Make sure there is a 3-prong, 110-volt electrical outlet within reach of the appliance's power cord.
- You will need a new gas installation kit.
Dishwashers
- Make sure your water shut-off valve is under the sink or behind your existing dishwasher.
- Be certain that the shut-off valve is corrosion-free, in good working condition, has a metal connection, and requires no plumbing alterations to connect parts.
- Your dishwasher should be level, and there should be no obstruction to the front legs of the unit.
- You will need a new dishwasher connection kit for your new appliance.
